If you're interested in a relatively affordable place to sleep at night that's close to everything, this is the place. The Mount Vernon Hotel was close enough that we felt we could easily walk to the Inner Harbor. Being relatively local, we did a drive by and felt comfortable so we booked it for the weekend at much less than the Inner Harbor would have cost. It was the right decision! The hotel staff was friendly, the room clean and the bed comfortable.
